The only way to have a bad time grabbing brunch near your community of apartments on Lady Bird Lake is by not grabbing brunch at all. With so many awesome brunch options within a few miles of your apartment community, it’s easy to make an impulsive decision to indulge in brunch. The only hard part is deciding where to go!
We want our residents to get to know their neighborhood, so we’ve decided to put together a quick list of the best brunch spots near Mesh apartments. While there are plenty of traditional brunch restaurants in Austin, we thought we’d share some of the brunch spots that serve something different. In the list below, you’ll learn about three places that serve a whole lot more than bacon and eggs.
Without further delay, let’s take a look at the list of brunch spots! When you’re done reading this post, please be sure to share the link to this blog with your friends and neighbors at your community of apartments on East Riverside!
This is one of the newest can’t-miss brunch options in Austin. At the Via 313 trailer, located behind Craft Pride Rainey Street, you can enjoy brunch pizza from noon to 3pm on Sundays. That’s a ridiculously small brunch window, but try to get there to take advantage of pizzas with hash brown crusts, whole eggs on top, and salsa from Taco Deli. That’s one brunch pizza option, and the other one has calabrese, eggs, arugula and shaved parmesan. Wash it down with a glass of delicious craft beer from Craft Pride, and you've got all the makings of an ideal Sunday on Rainey Street.
This New Mexico-based restaurant is new to Austin, and it’s bringing its home state’s famous chiles with it. Menu highlights include the green chile fried eggs, the kale and corned beef hash dish and the cilantro-corn pancakes. This brunch spot has a beautiful new space in South Austin, where the laid-back vibes are as enticing as the meals on the menu. It’s tucked away a little bit, so find parking off South Congress and wander around until you see it!
This is one of the best kept secrets of Austin, but it’s only awesome when the weather is awesome, too. Cosmic Cafe is located down by Ben White Blvd, across from Infinite Monkey Theorem. The cafe has a huge space, and most of it is taken up by an outdoor area with shaded picnic tables. The cafe has coffee and alcoholic drinks, and the food is served by two different on-site food trucks. If you’re into BBQ brunch, check out Leroy and Lewis. For a more Tex-Mex brunch experience, try the tacos at Pueblo Viejo. You really can’t go wrong either way.
